A FEW WONDERMENTS in my life so far are: Two wonderful daughters, JULIE and CHRISTY. Now, thanks to Bill, Christy’s husband, I now have the most beautiful grandson, ZAC. MY Travels, I guess "hitching" a ride from Manaus, Brazil upriver to almost the Venezuela border on a working tugboat with 3 barges of cargo trucks; Seeing wildebeasts, lions and their cubs, zebras, giraffes, plus, in the wild in Tanzania,Namibia,SouthAfrica. AND, being pleasantly surprised with kindness shown in countries as Myranmar,Bangladesh, and India! My greatest passion is travel, for the culture, architecture, and just meeting every kind of individual possible. So far it's over 100 countries, beginning at 12 to Mexico. I just "retired" from over 25 years of teaching, and living quite a vagabond existance since May 05.These include all of Europe, taking the Trans-Siberain railroad, and ending in Beijing. Most amazing discoveries the last year are countries as Myranmar, Cambodia, Bangladesh, and Lebanon. Of course, I'm not listing 90 more!!! Next stop, BRAZIL then back to the MIDDLE EAST, Jordan,Egypt, Lebanon and Syria.

Young Traveler Begins!

My Crazy adventure continues in Bangladesh

I met so many nice people. This is in Dhaka. One friend led to another friend. We experienced a boatride.... OF SORTS!!! ....down the river here. It has the Ganges beat for shocking!

Arrival Kolcata (Calcuta), INDIA

From Bangladesh I flew into Kolcata, because my dream was to then circle the sub-continent of India. allllllllllllll the way down to the "cape" or tip Kanyacamari. I hired a porter to carry my backpack to that LONGGGGG trainride!
This is in April in the Sunderbauns, Bangladesh. I've never met so many villagers so much fun. They would follow me throughout the village, I would make up easy tunes to see, and believe it or not.......they thought I could sing!!

Kids coming from school in Bangladesh. They are in a type of bike rickshaw that looks like a little cage. NO GASOLINE REQUIRED!
